Amid his world tour travels, Ian Maksin will make a quick stop in Seattle with a program dedicated to his original instrumental music written throughout the years and recorded on several releases: Soul Companion, Zaria, Sempre, Alchemist, as well as brand new compositions that are being recorded and mastered for the forthcoming album, scheduled to be released this fall!

Maksin's original music transcends well beyond New Age and Neo-Classical, as it encompasses elements of many genres from jazz to world music, drawing inspiration from traditional African, Mongolian and Middle Eastern Music, from Mozart and Bach, as well as from contemporary composers as Astor Piazzolla and Ludovico Einaudi. This music will take you into a state of near trance akin to spiritual experiences of Tribal Africa, Mongolia and those of North American natives, will take on a soul-exploring, healing journey beyond space and time.
